Atlantic Blue Tang Discoloring

Today I woke up around 11:00 to see the fish and noticed my tang has a bunch of large discolored grayish scratch marks around his gill plate. I just got him last week and he is around 1 inch. I feed him around 2 to 3 times a day with red algae, mysid shrimp, flakes, and brine.
