Carbon question

I'm going to be treating my 29 gallon FOWLR for ick with ick attack, a natural treatment. And was told to take out my carbon, which is stated by the instructions.
My question is will I be ok without my carbon in my filter for 10 days?
And can I reuse it?

Yes. You will be fine without carbon for 10 days. I can't vouch for the ich attack, but just running without carbon is fine.

Thanks,I'm also going to be adding a garlic medicine with my feeding schedule. And my LFS owner has never steered me wrong on purpose, and always is helpful. I'm just hoping the ick attack takes care of my issue
