My carpet has done some wondering and has meet a large aiptasia in my tank ( I know, I know...) and has had some tissue damage from the sting of the aiptasia. I am not sure if I should worry a lot or be confident in the fact that the anemone will heal itself. Any suggestions?

I would get rid of the aptisia. If you do a search on this site you`ll find several ways to get rid of it. As far as the anenome you`ll need to make sure your water is in pristine condition for your anenome to heal. I`m going to move this to the appropiate forum.
