Detaching toadstool?

I've had my mushroom in a spot for a while & he really was never happy there. How can I move him without hurting him? I tried to gently pull at it but it has too good a grip so now what?

You could simply cut him off and move him. I'd suggest gluing him to a small piece of rock or a frag plug so you can move him around at will until he finds a spot where he is happy.

When I cut him off, do I have to use any medication on him?

You can simply rubber band him down to the rock until he attaches. As long as the cut is straight and clean there shouldn't be any problems.
