Feather Duster problem or not?

So I noticed yesterday, that my Feather Duster's opening is crimped a little and it has not come out since I have noticed the crimp. Do you think it's a problem or a coincidence?

Can you tell us more about the system, parameters, and livestock? It could be either, but without more information can't give a definite answer.

if the worm is in the tub it will push through the crimped section .
sometimes feather dusters will stay inside the tub if maybe a fish or hermit came upon it so its hiding as it may have felt threatened , parameters can also play a roll .

most of the time it will come back out on its own in time
