Yellow Tang Has VERY Small white Dots on lateral fins

I just purchased a small yellow tang. Once in my tank I noticed it has some very small, less than a pin head, dots on it lateral fins. nothing on its body. Is there any cause for concern here?

both of the tangs i bought have them. all the ones in the store also had them i hope its not bad .lol

One of the main reasons all new fish go through the <<quarantine>> process prior to adding to the main display tank. It allows for proper time to pass to observe and ensure there is no possibility of parasite or disease.

I would suggest getting a QT set up ASAP to be safe if needed. It may be ich or might be nothing but leaving it to chance will not be in the fish's best interest...

IME, Tangs are Ich magnets. I would definately take steve-s' advice and look into a QT for those fish.
