black kuhli loach losing color

About 2 months ago we purchased a black loach, our fish contracted ich n of course we treated it. well today our loach came out n he is no longer dark brown/black...now hes almost light green...does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to why this may be happening?

assuming that your fish has fully recovered from the disease, it's certainly most likely that it's just under some level of stress. when stressed out, fish tends to have their colors fade. provide enough hiding space, the color should come back, assuming that there's no other illness/stress factors

We are doing another treatment tonight tomorrow n the following night, but it looks as tho the first treatment took. Our loach has lots of hiding places n hardly comes out lol hopefully his color returns
