I noticed one of my neons had a black mark around its mouth about 2 months ago but it went so never thought anything about it, just had a good look at all my fish today and the black mark/lump is back, its on its top lip between its mouth and eyes. It doesnt seem to be causing it any problems its swimmin around with the others and is always 1st to get the food!! any idea what it could be?

It could be alot of things - an old wound that healed, a cyst, or a benign tumor. I wouldn't worry unless it gets bigger or looks cottony or develops redness. These developments would suggest a malignant tumor or an infection. Keep an eye on it.
