I have a 36 gallon tank with 3 platies, 5 neon tetras, 2 Cory cats, 3 ghost shrimp and 2 dwarf Gouramis. This is my first tank ever so I didn’t realize something could be wrong if they have white stringy poop. They’ve all always pooped like that so I assumed it was normal. Now I’ve read that it could mean they have internal parasites. Besides the poop, they seem very healthy. They all eat great, don’t spit it out and look and swim like normal fish. What should I do? Treat the tank just in case? If so, what do I use?
