Goldfish with fin rot

Hello,
I have a goldfish that has (what i identified) fin rot, what do i do to treat it and what type of disease is it( parasitic, fungal, bacterial)? also, i have another goldfish in the tank with him, do i need to isolate my sick goldfish?

What size tank and what are you ammonia and nitrite readings? It looks like, to me anyway, that theres some water quality issues going on.

Hard to tell from the picture but is there red streak's through its tail or is that his natural color?

More than likely he has bacterial fin rot. Get some Kanaplex and dose per instructions on the box.

Tank size, pH, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, water change schedule and amount changed is all important if you could provide that.
