Gourami with ick

I am sure it's ick, can't really see it in pic. I can see it on the tiger barbs too. =( I know how to treat it. I'm going to use salt and heat following HUKIT's article on the homepage. The problem is I'm going out of town for a week on Tue. I was going to do a few days of melafix before leaving since I have it on hand, UNTIL I read that they are labyrinth fish. So, I'm posting to just make sure it's ok to use salt with him and to see if anyone has suggestions. My plan is dosing for tank amount today and wc tomorrow (adding salt for what I take out). I hope they are ok until I can get back and treat properly.

thanks! I began adding salt yesterday and will do a 50%wc today with more salt. I lost one tiger barb =( will be worrying about yhe others while I'm gone

Well i treated ick with the recomended amount of salt and temp raised to 85 frm my usual 78. Then i added half a dose of ich meds.
