Ich

Is it possible to have ich with no visible signs of white spot.

I've been treating my tank for flukes but have completely overlooked the possibility of ich. I didn't even know ich was a parasite. Problem is I can't see any white spots or anything obvious but my fish are flashing and showing ich symptoms.

This could be a breakthrough for me

Ich is always in the tank, it becomes a threat and seen as white salt like particles when fish become stressed if the fish start to flash start to treat the tank but don't worry about ick till you see it

Are they flashing around the gills? I believe it can just infect the gills.

I always thought though that it dies in the free-swimming stage if if cant find a fish?
