Relatively new aquarium with three male swordtails and two male platy. I just noticed all of these little white dots on one of my swordtails (body and fin). Note, no typical behaviors of ich that I've read about and it eats well. Swimming around seemingly happy and healthy.

We had three platy but lost one last night. It had been sickly since we got them about a week ago.

All water readings and tests (6 in 1, ammonia) have come back good.

Thoughts?

Yup, looks like ich. Try aquarium salt, raise the temp slowly to mid 80s, and i use and have had good luck with Hikari Ich x and also Kordon rid ich Plus. They are about the same thing. Treat according to directions on bottle

Probably right although the one that died had no "symptoms"

Definitely treating for ich, assuming all five of my new fish have it. Heat cranked up, will do a water change after the first three days of treatment.
