Is This Dropsy?

I seem to be having a guppy issue is this dropsy? He has large swollen belly - I've only had him 2 weeks. Water params are fine. He's in with 3 other male guppies and 5 neons. He's swimming around ok. Lfs sold me some melafix and i did a salt bath yesterday so waiting to see any improvement.good luck don't want to euphonise but if it is dropsy then I've heard there's not much hope but I hope it survives

I can't tell from the picture if it is a male for sure or not. Are the scales sticking out from the fish or not? If it is a female, I would guess she is pregnant. Do you know how to tell the difference from males and females?

Looks male to me could be bloated. Raise your temp a bit to increase waste excretion. Feed vegetables like peas with no skin. Water changes wouldn't hurt. Best of luck!
