My Goldfish's Poo

OK so today my goldfish Marvin pooped out huge pieces of poo. I didnt't now what the hell it was till I saw it coming out of him. I cleaned the tank before I saw it connected to him because we thought it might be toxic. I have never seen it before. Is he sick or what?
