Hi I need some help. I have 2 gouramis and I believe one is a girl but not sure I thought they were both males. I am wondering if it's bloated or if it's a female. 2 pictures of the one I have questions about one of the normal one

First answer needs to be what are the water parameters?

Do a water change if you do not have test kit or be able to go to a lfs for a free or low cost test.

Gouramis lay eggs and it IS possible the fish could be getting ready to lay eggs.

The main way to tell about male and female is the back of the dorsal / top fin.

The male is a more pointed end of the dorsal fin.

Female is more rounded. And broader and rounder around the front lower body.

Bloating will be more round all over the fish especially all around the abdomen.

With eggs, usually the lower body area will be more full and can also look bumpy and a bit clumpy at times and tight and shiny.
