My 2 white loaches in my 55 gal. like to swim really fast against the front of the glass from side to side and up and down, they almost always stay in the front of the tank. It seems like normal behaivor, however i can't quite remember if they've always done it since i first bought them or not. When I look very closely at their gills it looks silver and even somewhat sparkly. What do you guys think? No other fish in my tank are showing any signs of diesease or parasites.

Observation is key to detecting problems early. Good job on noticing this!!! :D

Gill and skin diseases are a common dilemma. It could be parasitic, but then again it might be nothing at all. I would be observing them for any signs of stress, such as very heavy breathing or lethargy. I wouldn't rush to treat the tank until you're sure what you are treating for.
