So about a week ago I found a dead ghost shrimp. Then a few days later the bamboo shrimp molted and died a few hours later. The next day another large ghost shrimp molted and died. The pH is 7.6 and nitrates are at 0-5ppm. What might be the problem? Should I avoid buying more shrimp?

have you tested your tank for copper? i cant keep shrimp because i apparently have copper in my tap water and an ro/di is not an option for me.

Are you showing any ammonia? Shrimp are notoriously sensitive to ammonia. Also, as mfd said, copper will sipe out any invert. Have you previously used any type of medication in that tank that had copper in it? What are the tank mates of these shrimp? The period after molting leaves shrimp incredibly vulnerable. What might normally be an angelic tank mate could be the culprit.
