My texas has a swollen mouth and can't shut it properly. It also looks a bit furry. Also, I noticed some holes (look like pin pricks) between and above his eyes. These now appear to have white stuff coming out of them. For the last week he has been mostly hiding behind plants. Hes not eating. This started just after I lost my firemouth to Popeye who was in the same tank. I cleaned the filter and did a partial water change. I've been using melafix and Pimafix for the last few days, but no improvement?

It seems like its fungus I'm not sure what your using will work or not but my bandit cichlids had it forever but it's easy to treat If you use the right stuff just keep doing water changes (the best medication)

The texas died. I was treating for over 4 weeks with various treatments, unfortunately I could not find the right one to save her. Thanks for your reply.
