Hello all, see the attached photos of white bumps that have appeared near my male Ram Cichlid's mouth.

I don' believe it is ich because they protrude quite far. The first one showed up about two weeks ago and the second bump just started to form. I'm not really sure how to proceed with it. Can anyone give me any guidance as to what you think the bumps might be? Also, could you give me tips on treating them?

Note my tank is heavily planted which will rule out some treatments.

To me it just looks like a cyst or tumor. Don't know what you could do for that. Maybe someone else has a better idea, but I really am not sure other than that.

From researching, I'm thinking that as well. Doesn't seem like there is a whole lot you can do about cysts, so hopefully they won't affect his health. The only thing that makes me question that is that he grew the first one, then about a week and a half later a second one showed up.
