I was in my LFS today and saw the most awesome fish. There were 5 of 'em. Tan-ish yellow with a black strip running along the lenght of their bodies. 4 inches long and very thin. they all swam with their heads pointed straight down toward the sand and there tails straight up toward the surface. their nose was about an inch long and pointy. the tail came to a point and then bent at a 90 degree angle. the tip of the tail looked broken but this was a natural "formation".
their odd swimming behavior was so cool.
The teenagers that worked there obviously had no Idea what they were. any Ideas? Possibly some sort of pipe fish?
