Hello everyone :) I was checkin out my tank and noticed these 2 things on my LR. I have googled but nothing really looks similar. So I was hoping someone could share their experience or knowledge as to what they are. The first looks almost like a spider web in the areas on the LR that do not get light (shined light on it for better picture). The other look like clear tubes that are tiny and they also travel throughout the rock. I haven't seen any movement coming out of them. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks :D

I have something on my rock which is the same as the first picture.

Not sure what it is, so I'm interested too!

pic 1 is either sponge, or mucous secreted from a polychaete worm, and pic 2 could be tunicates or the tiny beginnings of a spionid worm shell. i am leaning towards tunicate, because spionid worms make their shells out of calcium, and it probably would not be transparent, even at an early stage.
