no pic but can anyone tell me anything about this thing that looks like a centipede that came in my live rock. r they harm full or is it ok to leave in the tank. thanks for the help.

Could be a bristleworm. If it is, you can leave it. I'll find some pics for you to ID your critter.

Also, as a side not, be careful when dealing with either of these worms. The bristles can get into your skin and be an irritant.
