Hi all,

I just purchased my first live rock from an established tank, and it came with some critters, as expected. I found three crabs and a bristleworm. Could someone let me know if these things are going to get along with my future fish and corals?

The worm looks like a fireworm and not something you really want in a tank with corals. The hermit is 50/50. I'd leave him but watch him. He's probably harmless.

Ditto on the crabs. Keep an eye on them.

The worm is about the size where I start getting nervous and remove from the tank anyway, regardless of whether or not it's a fireworm. Don't touch the bristles...they sting like crazy and you'll itch for several days afterward.
