is it pink bird nest

ok i am seeing lots of little look like pink bird best it looks exactly like it but just still very small but it is growing. never had any pink bird nest was gonna buy one but just never got to it what is growing in my tank. i cant get any pic too so what could it be.


It just started growing for about two month and its about 1cm big i could see all the points that is growing.

Is it growing on your Live Rock? If so it could just be sponges....

yeah its growing on my live rocks... i dont know what sponges look like but it looks exactly like like birds nest its solid hard pink and pointing.

Maybe foraminiferans. But, without a pic, it's all a guessing game. Even a bad pic might help.

Foraminiferans... THAT'S the name I was trying like crazy to remember last night! That would be my guess. A birdsnest coral spontaneously popping up in several spots in a tank would be pretty unusual. Foraminiferns though... pretty common.
