I have just recently setup a 75 gal reef tank. I only have 40lbs of live rock fo now (cost way more than what I expected). I have a yellow tang, a clown fish, and 2 damsels. 3 or 4 hermit crabs, conch snail, several sand sififting snails, sand sifter starfish. Well anyways I was looking at shrimp that had died and was watching these little "bugs" all over it. I couldn't get picture of them. But I noticed some "bugs" on the glass as well. They are tiny little white things. I grabed my macro lenes and my d70 and this is what i came up with. Any ideas what these "bugs" are? They are about the size of a tip of a pin. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to AquariumAdvice.com :)

The smaller of the two images above (2591Parasites2.jpg) are mysid shrimp. The second and larger image (2591Parasites.jpg) are copepods. Both quite harmless and beneficial detrivors.

Cheers
Steve
