sorry i don't have a pic (camera sucks) but i noticed a bunch of little pink spots (about 1/2 - 1mm wide )with arms all over the glass today. from my observations they don't seem to move at all. any ideas on an identification?

Have you tried to scrape them off? I have no idea. The only thing I can think of by your description would by some type of hydriod but, they would move from time to time.
