Hi all,

My tank has been set up approx 5 months. Most of the rock is only about 4 months old except two pieces that are about 3 years old. The new rock has growth that I need help identifying.

1. The large rust color growth in the center of the pic.
2 & 3. The red grassy growth over most of the rock
3. The green tubular growth in the center of the bottom third of the pic.

Any help is appreciated!!

Umm, the brown growth could be an encrusting coral or it could be plating coralline. The red fuzzy stuff could be red hair algae or some other type of macro and the third thing could be a macro called caterpillar weed. They are all very hard to see. Some closer macro shots would be a great help. ;)

I was hoping you would answer Fluff.. I believe the red stuff is some type of macro. It has fairly wide leaves, so it looks like a plant more than anything. Ill try better pics, but not until tomorrow.. Thanks for the post!!
