Yes, I trust him too. The bigger question is whether the stuff you have is like the stuff I have! The raised red-purple stuff looks the same. The stuff close to the rock that appears to be spreading out looks like coralline.

Mine looks just like yours. I did some reading on the stuff but couldn't find any decent pics of it. I have a couple pretty good apps but pics don't look the same

That's closer than other pics I've seen.

Wanted to tell you that mine hasn't really gotten any larger in the past month but definitely have more of them. The color looks nice in the tank. Heres a pic. I've got some red-purple coralline growing there too and my bicolor blenny is peeking out of a hole in the rock

Looks good. Mine was on the liverock when I bought it. Along with a couple small snails
