I turned my lights off last night and then turned them on about an hour later and i saw a gray looking bug crawling around on my LR. What is it and is it normal and is it ok for it to be there?????

Was it snailish but without a big snail shell? Stomatella varia are very snail like but have a flat, form fitting shell.
If it had legs and ran around crazy it could be Thomusgrenusflagellate spermatoa, in which case it's going to annoy you to no end.
