what kind of algae is this

i have noticed this dark red almost burgandy colored algae showing up in my tank. what is it. is it bad and how do i get rid of it

It looks like slim alge it dosent look to bad. It could be from extra food building up in that spot. Just cut your feeding down a bit if at all posible. You can also try to vacum it up.
