Have a light white substance that looks like angel hair in my tank. It forms on the walls and rocks of my fish only tank. Anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it?

Does it kind of look like spider webs. If so it could be vermitid snails. It also could be mucous from different corals.

White stuff

It is a soft white substance that adheres to the glass and rocks. when on the glass it is thin and makes the glass look cloudy. It comes off very easily. When wiped off it looks like the angel hair that we used to put on Christmas wreaths.

I am currently have no coral in tank. Its 155 gallon and I have only 4 chromies. Salinity is 1.01 as I have, for the last month ben treating the tank for ick. In two weeks I intend on raising salinity to normal levels and then adding fish around July 1st
