more to come soon :D all the SW fishie pictures and a few more FW pictures

Ahem...yeah, I'm a girl blazey. :) See my name? It's okay, that's why the name is there cause everyone thought I was a guy. Haha.

Great pics. That is indeed a peppermint shrimp, which is cool. They aren't too easy to find now after Katrina, most of them got wiped out from the storm. My LFS gets a few every once in a while but while they used to be around $4 a piece they are now around $10.

Those red mushrooms are hard to find too! I need to make a trip to *looks up your location* Nashville and check that store out. lol

yes you do! LOL really that "shroom" is hard to find? I see them all the time here...and peppermint shrimp here are like $20 something....
thanks everyone for the complements

Red shrooms, atleast from what I've seen, bring a pretty penny!!! They aren't that common anywhere around here.

When I bought my initial peppermint shrimp long ago, I paid $3 a piece for them...that's how common they were. My LFS now sells them for $10 usually, but I've seen them higher elsewhere. $20...that's just crazy.

yep, the cheep shrimp is $15 and thats the coral banded shrimp... now you understand why I dont have any shrimp yet, they cost as much, or more than the fish
oh sorry for calling you a guy

Would love to pay $15 for shrimp. We have a typical cost in Alaska running around $20 - $28 depending on the "sale".
