This my common pleco, I like to call him Gerald.

I have a common pleco as well in my bigger tank. It's more active than the king tiger so I put it in my smaller tank

You can get a decent size chunk of Mopani from a big box lfs for $10-12 fish or reptile section. They like to have at least some in the tank to munch on. It will give off lots of tannins, good for the water / fish but darkens the water up & not everyone likes that. Fish like it.
