Blood worms

Quick question how do I cultivate blood worms I found heaps in my pond and I want to feed my minnows them but I need a sufficient amount for once or twice a week feeding. So far I have about ten in a bucket with old branches and leaves. Any suggestions ?

You can't cultivate them (easily) . They are insect larvae, hatching from eggs laid by midges. A pail left out might get them to lay eggs there as well as mosquitos, which are also good food.

Sweet thanks heaps I have filled a tub with water and put leaves and branches in will this work

You will probably get some, as well as mosquito larvae.
