Experience building own tank/canopy

Started planning for my next tank an thought all the better if I would build it myself (neat-o)
So I was wondering if anyone's had any experience building their tank, sump, stand, canopy. Particularly looking at a drop of tank. Or partial drop off tank.

Literally looking for any advice.

I built my stand, but it doesn't have a sump nor does it have room for one. Mine is a 60 gal, but I made sure to build a stand that would hold significantly heavier.
