i finally got all my stuff for my sump hooked up. now i have a pool filter hose thats running from my pump to my tank it connects to pvc fittings. i cant get those connections to seal i started with one hose clamp and that wasnt enough then i tried two clamps on the same fitting to no evail how do you guys connect this pool hose to pvc???

Are you connecting it to a regular pvc fitting or are you using a hose barb? A picture or two would help to properly understand your problem.

im hooking the pool hose to a threaded pvc fitting and i just looked more closely and im just gonna have to use regular clear tubing of the same diameter. the clamps just cut through the tubing i have i believe its just cheaply made tubing very thin. thanks josh
