cool lfs shots

lets start a thread about nice lfs display tanks. I don't want to see any "overstocked" inventory tanks with people complaining. i know i like taking pictures of cool display tanks, how about you? this one is from a world of fish in Minnesota. i know AngelFishGirl has seen this one beautiful reef tank started almost two years ago.

i know its an inspiration for my next project!! this store has so many nice corals with pretty reasonable pricing. they also have a very nice planted display tank i will take a picture of it next time I'm there.

I talked to one of the employees. Apparently this rbta nem was all one single nem which then split. They've had it for about 10 years. The clowns were practically making love to it when I was there

I take pictures of them all the time, I thought I was just crazy! Lol

The first one is their new reef they are building, it only has the base rock and a few large (and pink!) damsels. The tank is a custom rimless built for them, it's dimensions are 10'L x 6'W x 4'H. It is a BEAST. I don't remember how many gallons it is, all I know is that it's BIG and that I want one. Lol The sump and refugium is a 110 gallon. I've been following their building process since they took the old freshwater tank out. The rest of the pictures are just a few random shots of their reefs I took for my own reference.
The second lion fish is at a different store. It's a baby volitan (want!).

i love it!!! clownfish hosting anemones is one of my favorite things to see that is huge too haha

dang that is a huge tank!!! i love lion fish the same store with the tank i posted also has another 6 foot display with faux coral and a lionfish that is nearly a foot its huge

I looove lions. I have a 50 gallon bowfront sitting empty right now that I want to put a dwarf lion in. But I keep going back and forth between that and making a small reef. Such decisions!!
Another place I go to has a display tank with 2 that are probably the same size. They're beautiful. Here's their lions, and an angler and some other wacky thing I can't remember what it is. Their salt water livestock selection is awesome.

very cool fish i will be going to my 2 favorite local stores on saturday to get supplies for my 20 gallon high nano reef i will be doing. i will definitely take more pics and post them on here
