Hey guys!

It looks like I'll be setting up the 2.1 cube again, but this time I'm going into it with a little more knowledge and a different low maintenance/minimalist scape in mind. So let's get into it!

The preliminary specs are -

Tank & Equipment:
AquaTop High Clarity Low Iron Glass Cube 2.11 Gallons (7.5" cube)
Azoo Palm Filter (w/pre-filter sponge)
Fluval NanoTherm
Archaea LED Clip (17cm)
AquaTop Nano Heater (15W)

Hardscape & Substrate:
"ADA style" Spider Wood (from ebay)
CaribSea - Super Naturals (White Sand) (free from Tj1680, thanks!)

Ferts/Co2:
Flourish
Flourish Excel
Flourish Iron
API Co2 Booster
(dosing with 3ml pipette)

Plants:
Microsorum pteropus 'narrow'
Anubias nana petite sp.

Stock:
Corydoras pygmaeus
Tangerine Tiger shrimp

I don't have an ETA as to when I will begin scapeing/planting.
I'm open to suggestions and constructive criticism. Thanks for looking!

I see a nice planted nano shrimp tank..very good start!

Getcha sleeves wet fish tank people!

After a few days of soaking the driftwood I added it and the sand to the tank. This is the scape Tj1680 and I came up with. What do you think? Update: 3/23 - Setup and Planting

I finally got around to planting the tank this weekend and decided on going with a different scape since I moved the Spiderwood to my Fluval Spec, which I think it was better suited for.

The new scape includes:

- ADA Aqua Soil (Amazonia/Normal Type)
- Malaysian DW (I think)

I planted the tank with Cryptocoryne wendtii bronze and some Monosolerium tenerum that hitchhiked a ride with the crypts, yay :D!

Here are some pictures of the set up, planting, and flooding process:
