Hi all,
if I have an airaer in my tank for my Otos, will that be robbing the CO2 from my plants and stunt their growth?

Thanks,
-Josh

are you injecting co2 if yes then it could be dispersing some if not all the co2 your injecting if not it's not removing any more co2 then is normally in the water.

I'm dosing CO2 with Flourish excel, but that's it. Would it be significantly removing that?

if you mean your supplying your plants carbon with flourish excel then the air stone wont have any real effect on it. flourish excel isn't co2 it's a compound that the plants can break down to get the carbon they need. so you could use it without impacting it's effectiveness. And welcome btw :)

if you are not adding co2 gas adding a air stone or what ever wont effect the tank in any way.
