I have just started planting my 20G tank and I currently have an airstone running. Should I leave it in and running or take it out? Or does it not matter? I was thinking that since it just runs air in it could actually help diffuse a little extra CO2 into the water. Any thoughts?

are you lights are a level where CO2 is a limiting factor?

what kind of WPG is on the tank?

It's at about 1 WPG. Just tha standard light ing on it right now.
so a t8 light bulb?
20 gallon long or high?

that means a probabaly a 15 or 17 watt bulb depending on the demensions of the tank...

WPG rule is not as good with small tanks, but just for pretend that give you around 1.125 to 1.275 wpg (low light)

if that is all the light you are running and you are not having any problems, the CO2 should not be a concern
