I have a recently installed CO2 system from aquariumplants.com. Ever day when I get home from work the CO2 tubing is jammed up so that no CO2 is getting into the reactor. If I take the tubing off the regulator and give a sharp blow into it, the line clears up.

The line by the reactor almost looks like it has ice in it -- it gets white -- but when I squeeze it there isn't any ice in it.

Any one have any idea what's going on?

Is there a check valve installed anywhere? When you clear it, is air moving through the entire system?

There is a check valve, but I am not sure what you mean. When I clear it from one end, my breath bubbles into the reactor.

The pressure in the tube should be more than you can blow. What kind of diffuser are you using? Do you have it hooked up upstream or downstream of your filter?

Also, are you using proper CO2 tubing, or cheap airline tubing?
