I just got my drop checker and put it in about an hour ago. While it is starting to change to green how long should I give it to turn fully before adding another bottle of dyi co2.

If you used the reagents correctly, you will get a reading in about 48 hours.
Pause on adding anything else for now, because your next WC will change your CO2 concentration. It will increase your O2 and dilute your CO2 saturation. Wait until your next WC before making any other changes. Remember Blue is too little CO2, Green is adequate CO2 and Yellow means that your CO2 saturation is too high.
