Hi i am want to start getting some more plants in my aquarium. So far i have a aqua one single t8 unit and i want to Know what plants to get and fertilizer i need

Depending on how tall it is, you may be able to get away with most really low light plants. A single t8 isn't much light for a planted tank, but it is some. I'd look into stuff that isn't very demanding, java ferns, anubias, java moss are a few good ones to start with.
As far as fertilizer goes, since the tank lighting is fairly low intensity, the demand for fertilizer is likewise low, so you may be fine just dosing something like flourish comprehensive once a week after water changes. I wouldn't dose any more unless you notice nutrient deficiencies.
