Will I have any luck growing it? I have a 20 long with a planted+ fixture. Will be running DIY co2 (can't afford pressurized).

Forgot to add. Will be using dry ferts. And I have Eco complete for substrate

Your lights and ferts should be good but HC is sometimes frustrating to grow in larger type substrates. You will want to keep your co2 as steady as possible, too. It's worth trying, but you could also look into an easier alternative like Micranthemum 'Monte Carlo'.

Thanks I'll look into it. I wish it had the money for pressurized system so bad!

I grew this tank with diy co2 in around 3 months. Two 2 liters on a T connector fed into the inlet of a 10 gal hob with no media. Using dry ferts, modified EI. Replacing the 2 liters around every 3 weeks.

dwarf hairgrass (HC is just as easy)
2xt5 24" 6500ks
tank temp 78deg
floramax substrate mixed with black sand

2 cups sugar
1/4 tsp rapid rise yeast
pinch of baking soda
room temp 72 (temp of room matters for yeast production)
