I've got a plant that is about 7" across and 3" or so high. I've been reading roydooms guide, and I think it looks like a Anubias Nana but I'm not sure. Recently it's grown some extra roots and is even trying to flower! Here is a picture or two...
It is an anubias of some kind (very sure) and you will want to have the node/"roots" out of the substrate part way and don't pack the gravel around it. They usually do great when tied to a piece of wood using string for the first few months until the take hold.
Thanks for the replies. Having now read lots of online reference on Anubias I have decided it is a Nana. I'm still waiting for the flower to open, but the tip is getting whiter each day.
Did you spot the photogenic Tiger Barb on photo 3? He was just posing for the camera!
