Identification help?

So, I got this piece of plant life from the LFS I work at. Problem is, I have no clue what it is. I think it might be anubias, but beyond that, I'm at a loss.

I've got it wedged between a rock and some driftwood, since it's got a rhizome similar to java fern. Should it be planted in the gravel/flourite mix I've got instead?

If anyone can identify this plant, please do!

Looks like anubias to me. Where you've got it is fine. If you want to plant it, make sure the ryzhome stays above the substrate. they rot if they are buried.

If you want, you can tie it to the DW or the rock using fishing line.
