I'm looking to get a new light for my 75g. It has plants and fish. The plants need moderate lighting. I'm thinking of getting a LED do these give off enough light for the plants?

Depends on the LED fixture. Some are made just more for viewing the tank than growing plants.

What is the width of your tank, and depth if you can give it?

Budget has a lot to do with it for LED lighting. Do LEDs provide enough light to grow plants? Yes. I custom built the LED lighting on my tanks. Have a look at the thread on my 40B if you want to see what LEDs can do.

LEDs on a larger tank is not a cheap endeavor, however the long term costs are much lower than other lighting options.

I have a finnex fugeray planted + on a 75 seems to work good for me
Also put on a 20L it grows plants like weeds

The tank is 48''x 18"x18"

Finnex does make a nice light. They are sleek and produce a good amount of light. If it were my 75g and I was going to buy LEDs I would go with 2 of the Finnex fixtures either the 24/7 or the Ray. Depends again on what you want to grow.
