I have a 20g tall with dual 18w t5 ho 6500k bulbs. I don't dose anything, this is low tech, low maintenance, low cost tank. I am looking for some moss or other plant to grow on driftwood and rocks. I prefer something that WILL NOT grow like a weed and have to be trimmed every week. So slow growing is fine. What mosses grow the shortest? I would like it to be nice and short to the wood and rocks. Pics of your mosses would be appreciated.

Java moss on the driftwood in center if you zoom, been growing for months with no trimming at all. image-2283310265.jpg

I would prefer it to be shorter....did you just tie it down and let it go?
It was shorter, I upped my lights and started dosing flourish comp, I actually just kinda stuffed it in a crevice and it tied itself. Has a real nice healthy green look to it. If you have killi's they'll trash it though..

Nope, neons, balloon ram, badis, Pygmy cories, and shrimps. Anyone else grow any moss?
