Question on trimming!

just pinch off wherever on the plant u want to. pinch off as close as u can to where the newest"leaves" come out. and replant the cut off. it should send out a new off shoot from the old stem. sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt.
 
i find cabomba looks best when you replant the tops adn toss teh bottoms... the tops will frequently make a new shoot from the base so one top will become two

the plant itself will get fuller and bushier when you do this.
 
IME Cabomba is incredibly prolific. You can both top and replant, and leave the existing stems to grow new shoots. Either way, you're likely to have more Cabomba than you know what to do with in a very short time if your tank conditions are good (right Sherry :wink: ).
